When we are faced with natural disasters, all of our differences become secondary to surviving the earthquakes, floods or torrential storms.
We are learning that Nature's Baptism is the most powerful reminder for the Unity of Spirit.
Compassion and collective cooperation is the only way to live on this Earth/Heart.
Let us pray for all people suffering everywhere! Let us offer our best and seek peaceful resolution of our differences.

Salad for Life

When we mix a salad, some like only lettuce and tomatoes. Others add cucumbers and eggs or avocado with chicken or tuna. There are even those who add cranberries or apples and mango. If you are adventurous you might even top it off with a spicy peanut vinagrette.
When you see Life as a salad, You get to choose the ingredients. Make sure they are fresh with integrity and honor. Add kindness, compassion, humility and respect.
Don't select the poisons of envy or greed. They harm the mind, body and Spirit.
And Love...Love is the dressing that makes the salad of life truly delicious!

Some of us have come to believe that control gives us power. Some call others subordinates and think that their position of wealth allows them privilege and respect.
This is mis-understanding.
Each human being is worthy of love and respect. No human is less.
We all become greater when we honor those around us and offer our resources to those in need with joy and appreciation for their contributions. True power comes with integrity, inspiration, and loving Grace.

Open the Door!

In the still of the night; at dawn and throughout the day; into dusk and evening--always we are being asked to open the door for Love.
Love is ever-present in the whispers of the wind and even the harsh storms. Love calls to us with mercy and asks only that we acknowledge its fruitful presence in our lives.
So many are not listening.
Still the voice and song of Love travels throughout the ethers of time and offers hope to those who are willing.
Today is a day for simple miracles of hope and compassion. Awaken, open the door; and accept the fruit of Love!

On Loss
Beloveds,
Many of us will experience great loss in our lifetimes.
Those we love will leave.
We may lose our jobs or our homes.
We may lose our way or forget our dreams.
Loss teaches us acceptance and gratitude for what remains.
Through deep self reflection and faith,
we are able to embrace the pain,
honor our sacrifices and Move On!
Ultimately, every loss brings
hope needing to be
nurtured with courage
and allows us to cherish
the gift of re-membering
our loving purpose and good dreams.

What can be of benefit to peace? How can your actions contribute to good?
Now Begin Again. Have confidence in your decision.

Trust
Beloveds,
Sometimes there will be no immediate evidence that your life has moved in the right direction. Things may appear to be the same, or even worse. This is when we must trust and love.
Often the fruits of our good efforts are hidden in the clouds and will come after the storms have subsided.
Keep nurturing good; love, trust and believe that the fruits of your labor will come after the storms!

On Laughter
Beloveds,
When we are running to catch the bus and miss it anyway, or we forget where we put the house keys, or the computer get a virus or crashes; we often realize that even email is secondary to hearing a friendly voice.
For all this, share a moment of laughter. After all, we make plans to run and the Universe laughs! Look at it this way--- sometimes laughter clears our heart, helps us to slow down and shows us how breathe more deeply. Laughter can also provide the cure to a tense situation! What do you have to laugh about today?

In Difficulty
Beloveds,
Many in great difficulty have heard the re-assuring voice that says,
"I will walk with you throughout life. Sometimes it will appear that I am behind you. Other times that I am ahead or beside you. When you fall I will pick you up. Have faith and believe. Like a phoenix, we will fly with hope and share Our Love."
When we listen to the VOICE, we embrace peace and understand that the Infinite Power of Love resides within each of us! We Are Never Alone!

Overstanding
Beloveds,
I may not understand each circumstance, or reason why, but I stand with you. I will be there as your friend if you desire, in the both the calm and the storms of life.
We may travel different paths or dis-agree in the moment but somewhere in the Universal loop of overstanding--- what has always been and will always be is my hope and appreciation for you and your unique journey.
What is overstanding? Overstanding is the gift of love without condition, just because!
It is being able to speak from your heart and say for all time, "I Stand With You!"

Let us believe in goodness and allow the charity of our hearts to guide us in caring for and loving our neighbors! Ramadan, a month of prayer and fasting has begun.
Let us honor our brothers and sisters of Islam in this time of fasting and reflection. Know that regardless of our faith tradition, we are All children of a Compassionate, Merciful Creator!
Let us walk together with peaceful hearts!
