Beloved Radiant ONES---

 

Breathe  and Exhale Deeply Five Times. With each slow breath  look to the four directions, East, West, North, South, and bow in Appreciation and Gratitude for Our Mother Earth-Heart and All Her Creations.   

 

On the Fifth Breath,  Raise your hands above your head and then bringing them down to your shoulders,  turn slowly in a complete circle. 

 

It is said that Love with Wisdom allows complete loyalty, transformation and trust.  

 

Breathe Deeply  In and Out Five More Times, and turn slowly until Only Faith and Love envelops your Heart. 

 

Imagine that Patience holds your hand as birds of Intuition guide you through the winds of change. 

 

You are learning to Fly  and Become One With Omnipotent, Masterful, Generous Creator of Every Uni-Verse through Love.

 

You have chosen to embrace the Swahili concept of IMANI: Faith Nurtures, Supports and Sustains Me.

Now  You Are Ready to Step into the New Year with Grace, Love and Wisdom.

Kwanzaa is an unique celebration founded in 1966 that takes place December 26th through January 1st every year.  It encourages people around the World of African descent to restore a Universal Family Tradition and to strengthen bonds within the family and community.

Dr. Maulana Karenga is the founder of Kwanzaa.  Through seven principles represented by the candles lit on the Kinara each day  during the celebration of Kwanzaa, we honor Our heritage as people of African descent who lost a great deal of our heritage through enslavement.
