Beautiful People, 

Love was all around me everyday...

In the smiles of the children...

In the melody of a song...

In the dance of the trees blowing in the wind...

In the light of the moon and the sparkling stars...

In the warmth of the sun and even the roar of the ocean... 

Love Was Before Me Everywhere! 

Love was constantly saying hello, and asking me to care, share and Love.

But my ego needed control,

and in control, I destroyed it all. 

Then empty and alone, my heart became broken and scattered throughout the many crevices of UniVerse. 

And in the emptiness of Eons Beyond Time, I was filled with the Benevolent Mercy of Our Creator. 

It was then, beyond the desire of my selfish ego that even I, the worst of sinners was forgiven and born again in Grace. 

Having learned that lesson, now I am able Only to Dream, See, Share and Reflect Love!

This Is My Gift to You and the World! 💖

Today, Take a Moment to Open Your Hearts with Gratitude.

Listen to the whispers of the UniVerse and the cries of the winds, the mountains and oceans.

We are hearing and feeling the echoes of dissonant harmonics of Mother Earth.  Our greed causes imbalance, death and destruction. Our many actions of violence and hate are disrupting the Creator's Heart.

Re-birth and Transformation are possible only through a Resurgence of Love. 

Only through Love can we provide safety for our Children, nurturing them and our Elders with Hope through Grace so that our Earth Garden and Hearts Blossom with Good Dreams and lives of Opportunity, Grace and Mercy.

In the coming of this New Season of Re-Birth, we must ask for, and embrace Divine Wisdom.

We must speak the Truth to each other honestly, and acknowledge our wrong actions so that there is Peaceful Reconciliation and we can move forward in Love. 

We must honor and respect each other, and through our diplomatic actions call for an end to the many economic, social, spiritual and political injustices, as well as the end of violence and war. 

Today Allow Your Heart to Awaken.  Embrace Divine Wisdom. With your every thought and action...

Plant, and Nurture New Seeds of Hope, Compassion and Cooperation.

It Is Through the Gift of Love that Our Good Dreams Will Blossom and Bring New Harmony in the Gardens of Our Hearts, On Earth and throughout the Galaxy, the UniVerse and the MultiVerse.

First take a moment to still your mind and your heart.

May We Let Go of Winters of Doubt and Awaken in Love, knowing we are a part of the Infinite UniVerse.

May we release our need to destroy, and desire only to Share and Heal. 

May we share our harvest of Prosperity and let go of winters of doubt that have haunted us and caused us pain. May we heal our Earth & our Hearts.

May we look to our sentient brothers and sisters; the trees, the flowers, all plant life, sea life, the stars, insects, animals and all beings of MotherEarthHeart and our Infinite MultiVerse as a Collective of Divine Grace.

May we educate ourselves and our children as beings of Love Inspired.

May we choose to live in Peace, share food and material riches with All and re-member that we are responsible for eachother.

I Am Like A Butterfly!

Beautiful People, 

One day, I looked into the garden of my heart and saw all my mistakes and imperfections. 

A part of the caterpillar me thought I did not deserve happiness.

I realized that I had planted seeds of unworthiness and despair in my personal garden. 

I had not learned True Compassion and Gratitude.

That day I met Mercy.  She taught me to offer forgiveness to myself, and to everyone else.

Now as my personal garden blossoms in LOVE...

 I am like a butterfly kissing the flower with gratitude; learning to tend the Garden of Our Collective by offering True Compassion, Forgiveness, Mercy with Integrity and Patience!

 Beautiful People,

Today I Pray.  I Sit In Silence Asking for Guidance and Direction.  

The question some of us may be asking in this time of Painful Transformation is...

"Will Hope Be Enough for All to Re-Connect to Our Divine Source of Love?".  

The Truth Is that All Actions of Love Make this World Better! 

I close my eyes, trust and allow time to pass.  

I Breathe and Exhale Many Times.  In Hope.  Out Love.  

I follow the Light through the darkness.  Each step I take into my heart fills me with Grace and gives me Hope.  

I Vision Good Change on Earth. Good Change is not always comfortable or easy. 

Sometimes Change brings confusion and chaos.  

I Breathe.  The World Is Changing.  

I Am Changing.

I hold on to Faith and ask for more Courage.  I keep moving towards the Light.  

I Breathe.  In Hope.  Out Love.  

I Thank Our Blessed Creator.  I Honor Our Ancestors and All Who Have Ascended.

It is Spring.  As I step into Good Change, I imagine that I become the Light.  All around me are other Lights.  We are those Spirits Awakening with Respect and Integrity.

Michael Mims on the Legendary Dancer and Choreographer Louis Johnson...

"I have become aware that there are no African Americans among my website biographies. The reason for this is my website is a ballet site, while Broadway has had "color blind" casting for some time, ballet companies were the last of the theatrical arts to include African Americans (it is not a lot better now). There were a few black dancers to penetrate the all-white companies but Arthur Mitchell had to start the Dance Theater of Harlem so black ballet dancers would have a place to dance.

In 1940 Ballet Theatre (now American Ballet Theatre) had their premiere opening season at the Center Theater (across the street from Radio City Music Hall). On the program was a black group dancing in Agnes de Mille's "Black Ritual."

That was the last time black dancers danced with Ballet Theatre until 1965 when Agnes de Mille choreographed "The Four Marys" for ABT with: Carmen de Lavallade, Glory Van Scott, Judith Jamison, and Cleo Quitman and Paul Sutherland.

Louis Johnson was one of the few African Americans to squeeze through the barricade, dancing inJerome Robbins' "Ballade" with the New York City Ballet.

Louis Johnson was born in Statesville, North Carolina and grew up in Washington D.C. The Johnson family lived 2 blocks from the YMCA, and Louis took advantage of all the activities the "Y" had to offer. He was a great athlete, and became a champion wrestler and noted acrobat. When the YMCA had to close for repairs, the YWCA offered them space. The ballet teacher at the "YW" noticed Louis and gave him a scholarship at the Doris Jones-Clara Haywood School of Dance.

With their encouragement, in 1950 Louis moved to New York City at the age of 19 to accept a scholarship at the School of American Ballet (SAB).

Jerome Robbins used Louis Johnson in the premiere of "Ballade." Robbins also used Louis to create the role in "Afternoon of a Faun," but because Louis was black he was not allowed to dance the role. In 1953 George Balanchine didn't think New York City Ballet was ready for a racially mixed pas de deux.

I first met Louis when he, Arthur Mitchell and my ex roommate, Bob Curtis appeared in Gertrude Stein's "Four Saint in Three Acts," choreographed by William Dollar.

In 1954 Louis and I had ballets sponsored by the New York Ballet Club. I loved his work, but I was jealous of his talent as a choreographer. Louis had great success, but with all the good reviews he still could not break this color barrier in ballet. Like many other dancers, white and black, who could not make a ballet company, he went to Broadway. Louis danced in "My Darlin' Aida," "House of Flowers," and "Hallelujah Baby." he was also in the stage and screen versions of "Damn Yankees."

At the same time, Louis Johnson was making a name for himself as a choreographer. His "Lament" and "Kindergarten" were beautiful ballets. Louis' choreographic style was a combination of ballet technique, social dancing, Katherine Dunham-inspired modern and acrobatics. In 1970 Louis was nominated for a Tony Award for his choreography of "Purlie"; the same year he choreographed the film "Cotton Comes to Harlem", and in 1978, "The Wiz."

In 1972 Louis created "Forces of Rhythm" for Dance Theatre of Harlem and for the Alvin Ailey Company he choreographed "Fontessa and Friends." Johnson staged Scott Joplin's "Treemonisha" for the Houston Grand Opera in 1975. He also choreographed "Aida" with Leontyne Price in 1985 and "LaGiaconda" with Allegra Kent for the Metropolitan Opera.

As an active arts educator and teacher, Louis Johnson has conducted black arts symposiums at Yale, Howard, Virginia State, Hampton Institute and Morehouse College. In 1986 he was appointed director of the Dance Division of the Henry Street Settlement on the Lower East Side. He has retired, but I know him well enough to know if he were asked, he would be back to working in a heart beat."

When you have been hurt, wounded or discouraged, simply stop and still your mind.  

Breathe Deeply Ten Times.  With each breath, Inhale Patience filled with the Oxygen of Love.  Exhale Hurt, Pain and Disappointment. Take Your Time.  Keep Breathing Deeply...

It is true that we are living in a World where egotism, fear, hate, materialism and violence have taken center stage in our economic, social and political arena.  

It is also true that those with small minds may try to destroy those who know Truth with deception and lies.

Those with small minds will try hard to distract you before their own inadequacy or fear of Equity and Good Change is discovered.  

This minority of people often will attempt to sabotage or undermine your positive intentions and actions. 

Evil ones may even try to rain on a joy parade or burst your bubble of enthusiasm and happiness. 

They will use the media to confuse and suppress those who live with Integrity, Good Intention and Purpose.  They will attack the media and call it "fake news" when Truth Is Reported. 

Evil ones will attack Good Efforts of Progress and All those who Speak Out Against Evil.  

YOU will be bombarded with so much negativity that if you are not careful, it can result in a Loss of Hope.  

Do Not Let Evil Paralyze the Goodness In Your Hearts and Our World.

Re-Member Good Will Win through Our Courage, Our Faith, Our Persistent Integrity, Our Positive Tenacity, Our Hope and Our Consistent Good Efforts.  

Focus on Goodness and the Changes we must make to insure a Better World for Our Children.

Please Do Not try to fight evil with evil.  Do not become hateful or seek vengeance with your words.  

Stop filling your minds and hearts with useless evil propaganda.  

Stop giving evil a platform.  

Stop Doubting Yourselves.  Stop Creating a Fearful Reality. 

Remember this-- When You Awaken and Walk In Truth, no matter the obstacles;  New Doors will appear through Grace.  

We Must Focus on Building Bridges of Creativity, Cooperation, Education, Healing, Equanimity, Justice, Economic Prosperity to Share and Peace. 

Try to Keep Your Hearts Open. Walk Only with Right Thoughts, Words and Actions of Truth.

Love will reward you with the Courage and Faith to live with gratitude, a Peaceful heart, unlimited creativity, energy and resources to manifest Our Collective Good Dreams.
