The broken teapot of old hurts, the letters of rejection, the worn coats of disappointment, and the many shoes of fear are all items that clutter my heart that I no longer need.

Organizing.  Polishing.

Beautiful People,

In the Time of material greed, hatred, corruption, class, race and religious wars; there was a Woman who had traveled far and faced many demons. 

Along the way she had made some good decisions; and some bad decisions that offered good lessons.

She had helped many people but when she thought she needed help, no one was there. 

She felt disappointed and terribly alone.  She prayed for Deeper Understanding. 

One day a few Wise Ones came to her in a dream.  They held her hand and wiped her tears.  They sat quietly with her and watched the Stars as they glistened in the darkness.  

In Unison the Wise Ones said to the Woman,  "Trust in the Light. Trust in the Spirit.  Know that you will always be a part of who I AM and a part of ME." 

The Woman awakened  from her dream  with New Deeper Understanding; feeling safe, nurtured and Loved.  She felt that the Wise Ones were the GOD Living and traveling within Her.  

So often the Strong Ones feel that they journey alone, trying to offer others compassion, hope and understanding. 

It is important to remember that We Are Never Alone. 

Please, Breathe and Exhale Deeply Ten Times.

Remember These Words in Your Heart....  

"Trust in the Light. Trust in the Spirit.  Know that you will always be a part of who I AM and a part of ME."

Friends are the Fruit of Our Hearts and the Family We Choose! 

Beautiful People, 

Our Friends are the delicious fruit of our hearts.  Some fruit we experience often. 

Others are a rare delicacy that we seldom have the opportunity to savor. 

Some fruit like avocados, oranges, grapefruit, kiwi or mangoes, we must peel.  

Others Friends are the apples, blueberries, grapes, pears, and strawberries of our hearts. 

Sometimes Our Friends may even be bananas, coconuts or watermelons!

Through Friendship we learn that just as no fruit tastes the same;  no human has the ability or capacity to offer us exactly what we give them.  

Friends may agree or disagree. Sometimes Friends may hurt eachother and need to ask for  Forgiveness.  

Friends may live close or far away.  They may speak often or rarely.  

Other Friends will forever be a Mystery.

Most Importantly, Friends Are the Fruit of Our Hearts and the Family We Choose!

When nurtured with care, compassion, courage, deep listening, integrity, sometimes space and Always LOVE,  our Friendships will remain the delicious, cherished fruit of our hearts.

Beautiful People, 

Most of you know I love to breathe deeply, laugh and smile.  In these days of COVID-19 for months dental care was restricted.  Now that we are able to return there are New Safe Practices for Dental Care. 

My dentist is Dr. Leon Merrick and he is one of the Best!   Caring, compassionate and kind, Dr. Merrick is  the kind of human being that I respect. Not only is he a graduate  of  the New York University School of Dentistry,  he is a Servant Leader and committed to doing what he can to make his Harlem community and the World better.   

Why is this important to me?  I make it a practice to select healthcare professionals who have integrity and whom I can trust.  

Dr. Merrick's motto is "Restoring Your Smile... and Your Life!"  

Whether you need a consultation, teeth cleaning, fillings, crowns or implants, etc., in these times of COVID-19, Dr. Leon Merrick has been practicing dentistry for more than 30 years and assures that patients are safe and comfortable.  

When entering the reception area patients use hand sanitizer and are asked to put on protective gear from head to toe. 

Then in his protective gear, Dr. Merrick takes your temperature, checks your pulse and oxygen level and it is placed on a form where you are asked a few other questions.  Providing all is well, you then proceed to an examination room. 

Once in the chair, Dr. Merrick will ask you what music you would like to hear. I always let him choose.  For me he  played Jon Lucien, Yolanda Adams and other soothing tunes. Then you are given sanitized plastic goggles for protection and asked to gargle.  

Before you know it, the appointment is over and you deposit your outer protective  gear.   Back in the Reception Area, sanitize your hands and use a clean tissue on the door knob as you exist.

Incidentally, gargling regularly with mouthwash,  especially the brown Listerine can destroy any bacteria you may have picked up in the street.

Embrace the cloak of Courage and Integrity. 

Nuture and Honor the Genius Living in You!

Every wound gives temporary pain but also is a lesson in acquiring Strength in times of adversity. 

The fractured or broken bones, your muscles, your brain and your tender heart are always healing through your genuine ability to see the joy in overcoming whatever challenges we face.  This is Life.

Your Destiny lies beyond the disappointments or failures.  

Your Destiny will not be marred by jealous thoughts or petty actions.

Your Destiny Resides In the Heart of Love. This Is Truth.

Truth is the only way to live as a Being of Love. Knowing, speaking and being the Truth is how we live Our Purpose. 

No matter the obstacles, Everyone has a Purpose and a Contribution to make on Earth/Heart. It is something that only You can do, or say or write in the Fabric of Time. That Is Your Genius!
