2011 A new Year of HOPE!
Melony McGant, poet, storyteller, humanist and world lover of children lives on HOPE; works to breathe in love, and exhales fear (false expectations appearing real).
She says "Perhaps our current challenges are wake-up calls for our collective awakening to truth."
And she believes that the truth is, there is no need for our constant bickering, our disdain for eachother, for wars and killing, for world hunger, massive disease, for discrimination, subjugation, or oppression.
She maintains that LOVE, even on a rainy day, is the answer to our dreams, our individual quests, and our future collective identity. "If we can learn to value our children, our elders, ourselves, and our Mother EarthHeart, then surely we have the power to impact society and to create a world filled with JOY."

Simply Grateful
Beloveds,
Let us be simply grateful
for this moment,
this hour, and this day.
Let us offer ourselves
as living testaments of hope;
as we walk with illuminated faith.
Through our joy and sadness;
our laughter and tears,
let us be simply grateful
for each breath of Love.
And in our gratitude
to our Blessed Divine Creator,
let us... Walk in Peace
and allow our lives to be
Songs of Love and Gratitude!

Life Will Call
Beloveds,
Life will call,
beckoning us to move out
of our comfort zone
and experience the unknown.
When we answer and embrace
the mystery of life,
we receive new blessings
and become wayshowers who
carry the lantern of hope.
Be bold. Answer the call!
Be a wayshower of hope!

Earth School
Beloveds,
Every day we are given many
opportunities to remember that
we are in Earth School. Earth.
Every Action Reflects True Humility.
When we have humility
we let go of greed
and envy and become more
understanding and patient.
We share and become greater in good.
We learn to walk with through
the gardens of Compassion,
Humility and Grace.
As we open our hearts we are
given these precious life gifts.
These gifts are the intent
and fruit of the Divine Heart.
Earth School...
What gifts are you willing to receive today?

Beloveds,
No matter the challenges and struggles,
we must find peace within our hearts
and walk with loving tenderness.
This is Earth School.
Some come to learn, others to teach.
Some are warriors.
Others are peacemakers.
Some walk with great faith
and become personifications
of loving hope.
Others are learning about the
material world and mistakenly
embrace greed and power.
They have forgotten love.
No matter who we are, our time here
is finite but our Spiritual existence
is infinite and eternal.
While we are here we must honor
and celebrate eachother, love eachother
and cherish eachother as beings
connected in love.
Today honor family,friends and strangers.
Share compassion. Forgive with humilty.
Make peace with all.
Our time to be here may be short
but in leaving we are never alone.
Those who return before us to Heaven,
our angel ancestors await us---
just as they live always in our hearts
and soar through the universe unlimited
or restricted by physical bodies assisting us.
God lives through them and through us.
There is nothing but love.
Love is God in action.
Please re-member love...
and live only with love today!

Happy Holidays With Love
A Miss Mellie Rainbow Holiday Note On Love
Beloveds,
As we honor the season of a Child born of humble beginnings,
we can remember the simplicity of hope and the power of faith.
This child was born in love, grew in love,
walked only in love and died in love.
Love is the greatest of all gifts that we can share.
Love forgives, offers compassion, grows in understanding
and patience, gives us courage and fortifies our strength
in good.
Love fills our hearts, gives us joy and a desire to share
more love in Peace.
As we honor the Child of Love, in this Holy Season,
let us love, hope, and heal together, pray together
and have faith in an Eternal Divine Purpose
for we too, all of us are…
Born to Love.

Happy Solstice--Seasons of Life
Beloveds,
In life, we will have joy.
We will have sadness.
We will learn to share our compassion
and love with others as we embrace
the winters, springs, summers
and autumns of our lives
with appreciation and gentleness.
As we learn with divine understanding,
we will have more courage
and strength in love.
Balance too, is important
in all areas of our lives.
Work hard but take time to be playful.
Enjoy the special moments of each season
and re-member to always sing
the Universal Song of Love!
Happy lunar eclipse full moon
day of winter solstice!

Celebrating Friends
Beloveds,
Friends are personal angels.
They show up when needed,
give space with care,
nurture us through dis-appointment,
or tough times, and encourage us
to live our greatness.
A friend shares your life passages
of success and failure,
and often lifts you up
to begin again in love.
A friend shares our laughter and tears;
sadness and joy,
and reminds us to cherish
the good of our lives.
They too are family
Today let's celebrate our personal angels
and the gift of friendship!

Evidence of Faith
Beloveds,
When we have no evidence
of an outcome
but believe in good anyway,
then we have faith.
Faith is the light of love
that opens the door
to the universal heart.
Within the universal heart
we can walk with compassion
and share our collective dream
of love through kindness.
It is then that Grace moves
through us giving evidence
of a holy light
that magnifies and heals.
Through faith, we become
the loving outcome of hope
and learn to live as beings
of light and love.
Today be kind and have faith
in the benefit of
each loving action!
Be a holy light of hope!

of an outcome
but believe in good anyway,
then we have faith.

PEACE dedicated to Emmanuel JAL PEACE
Beloveds,
Peace is possible when we remember
the magic of love
and re-connect to divine grace.
So many of you are living peace
and singing the song of peace.
How beautiful you each are
as you create new chords
for a universal song.
All over the world you are awakening
and singing about a loving peace.
Thank you.
Please keep singing and
living the message of Peace.
You have opened the door
to the miracle realm.
All good is possible and probable

Beloveds,
Please walk tenderly.
Honor the Divine Spirit
in all sentient beings.
God is love
and the energy of love
moves through you
to create new
infinite melodies of Grace.
Walk tenderly and be
in tune with the harmonic
loving vibrations of the universe
on this day.
Sing and share the melody...
Be the song of Love!

Say YES!
Beloveds,
Joy is often hidden in yes.
It is part of the story of our lives
that too often we ignore.
We are too busy to listen,
to offer a hug or hold a hand
of a person in pain.
We often miss the miraculous moments
because we are pre-occupied
with work or self or fear.
Today please pay attention
to what is going on around you.
Smile and connect to others.
Call an old friend.
Visit a sick friend.
Say "I love you" to someone
you cherish everyday.
Play a game and read a book
with your child everyday.
Draw a picture, sing a song,
blow some bubbles,
or make an angel in the snow.
Say thank you at least ten times a day.
Say yes to being alive,
living your dream and helping
someone else live their dream.
The time is now.
Let's come together, work together,
forgive eachother, love eachother,
support eachother and live
each day with a willingness to say Yes!

On Children---When your heart says NO More!
Beloveds,
There are times that we love
our children so much that
they learn to show us little respect.
Today's music and media tools
encourage a culture of sex,
drugs and violence.
Talk to them about it.
Remind them to have compassion,
humility, respect, and loving kindness.
Nurture their gifts.
Teach them to work hard and to share.
As adults we must love children
as we set clear boundaries
and be firm about the consequences.
And even when your heart says no more,
you must find the way to forgiveness
and love within the boundaries you have set.
No matter what they have done,
today is a new day.
Love them, be firm, nurture them,
set clear boundaries and let them
know that you love and believe in them.
And so it is!

New Choices and Possibilities
Beloveds,
An Affirmation.
Today I walk with honor,
respect and feelings of love
for myself and all others.
I vision peace in my life
and hold a loving peace in my heart.
As I let go and move on in my life,
new choices are presented and
like a child in wonder,
I embrace the infinite possibilities.
Today I move forward as a loving spirit
awakening in a beautiful new way.
I simply ask to be given guidance
so that I live my true loving,
peaceful destiny moment to moment.
And so it is!

Make the Best of Today!
Beloveds,
Make the best of today!
Love now.
Sometimes we regret the path
we have taken and wonder
how our lives could be different.
We forget that our life experience
has made us the unique
individuals we are now.
So we must let go of regret
and be grateful for Now.
Ultimately, all we have
is the Here and Now.
Love now for what we have is today.
We should try to make
the best of today by sharing
the best of ourselves
and caring for others.
Please love now!
Make the best of today!
Love now.
Sometimes we regret the path
we have taken and wonder
how our lives could be different.
We forget that our life experience
has made us the unique
individuals we are now.
So we must let go of regret

Ultimately, all we have

One kind word
with
what the future holds...
Please be Hope.
Have faith, pray, be forgiving,
share and live with compassion.
Walk with loving kindness!

Re-birth
Beloveds,
As we learn to honor,
respect and love our elders,
we become more aware
of God in Eternity.
Re-birth, transformations,
endings beginnings again,
and again
remind us that there is always
cause for ceremony and celebration.
Each day we are given opportunity
to expand our vision and our hearts
as we re-discover Heaven
in the simplicity of kindness!

On Peace
Beloveds,
Peace is a pathway that
lies beneath each thought,
feeling and action.
Peace is learning to honor
the healing process
and holding a space for the
joy that can come after.
Peace is the smile of joy
on a child's face as she or he
holds the hand of a grandparent
and adoringly they say to eachother...
I love you!
Peace is hope day and night
illuminated by faith.
May a loving peace prevail!

Most Important
Beloveds,
Most important this holiday season
is to remember all that is good
in our lives.
We can share our gratitude
with family and friends.
We can inspire eachother
through our loving actions.
We can also celebrate with compassion
by sharing our resources
with those in need and help
to improve our Earth.
Today, start by extending
a big smile to a stranger.
Share your gratitude for all good deeds.
Hope for prosperity and peace for all people!
And please, even in loving dis-agreement,
we must re-member to support eachother with respect.
May a loving peace prevail!

JOY
Beloveds,
It is said that some healing
comes from inner Joy.
But what is Joy?
Joy is in the be-ing,
in the recognizing,
and in the acceptance of love.
Just as breathing creates the pathway
for the journey of love.
Today, breathe deeply
embrace each moment
and find your JOY!

Giving More to the Rich is a DinosauricThought
Beloveds,
At some point, we must all travel
through the wilderness of our own mind
to discover what holds us in fear.
Some of us might be horrified
by the vestiges of dinosauric thoughts
that prevent us from moving forward
in love and a willingness
to support those in need.
Is it right to give the wealthy
in America more
by continuing the Bush- era
tax cuts for the rich
just so those unemployed
can have extended benefits?
What do you think?
How can we really move forward in love?
How do we create more jobs
and support those in need?
Where is our morality?
We must let go of these dinosauric thoughts.
Is it right to reward the rich
while others suffer?
We do support you Mr. President.
Please don't give more to the rich.
Help us keep our hope and integrity!
Folks, today call your senator,
your congressperson and the White House.
Let Your Voice Be Heard!

Shadows
Beloveds,
So many shadows
and skeletons
of our society
are being exposed.
We now have an opportunity
to be honest
and return to integrity.
Today,what do you need
to be honest about ?
What skeletons or shadow
needs to be embraced,
forgiven and let go?
Perhaps we can
find hope in truth
and forgiveness
as we commit to
Move Forward In Love!
Walk In Peace!

On Deception
Beloveds,
When you walk with an open heart,
there are those who will try
to deceive you.
They may even believe that
your kindness is a weakness.
They may lie and try to steal
your money and your heart.
This is a fact of life.
When you know this,
you become wealthy
in understanding and wisdom.
You become stronger
in love and compassion.
No matter what others believe,
you see every deception.
But as an instrument of God,
you pray for the best.
You Give with discernment;
lovingly.
And your gifts forever
multiply with love!
This is the reward
for the believer
and giver of love!

Risk and Reward
Beloveds,
In life if we
are not willing to risk
some of our material comfort
for God's dream,
then how will there be
any reward?
If your heart says yes,
then take the risk
and know that positive resolution
will come from God's miracle realm.
Ultimately the risk will be
a lesson in courage and compassion.
God's true reward will be understanding
with an everlasting, sustaining love!

Beloveds,
Everyday I pray
for Miracles for others
and do my best
to offer love.
Often the Uni-Verse

sends through others
with kindness and love,
beautiful Miracles for me!
Do Good and good will come.
Today, be a Miracle Worker!

Every day you have 1,440 minutes
to work, sleep,sing,laugh,cry,

or start a war.

Living Through the Arguments
Beloveds,
No matter the giant
temper tantrums
and universal arguments
of greed,
we are living in a time
of bursting light
filled with loving grace.
Hold your holy ground
and have patience.
No matter what it looks like
or what it feels like,
good will ultimately prevail!
Today walk with your head high
and know that your courage
and loving actions
do make a difference.
And as we live through the arguments,
we must hold the space
for equity and peace
to manifest in our own actions!

A Thanks Giving Prayer
Beloveds,
May appreciation and gratitude
fill our hearts with a willingness
to forgive and see beyond
past wrongdoings.
May we give thanks for
all our gifts and blessings;
and share a vivid hope
for equity and peace
for those who have been
dis-enfranchised by human
or natural disasters,
and each sentient being.
May we say goodbye to
a world society of greed,
envy and terror
as we learn to educate,
share resources and build
sustainable loving communities
so that our children know
a world of infinite wonder
and loving peace.
May the need for fear
be resolved through
cooperation and understanding
as we prosper with compassion
and divine grace!
And so it is with hope
and eternal faith
in our human collective
as we awaken in,
and honor the universal heart of God!
May appreciation and gratitude
fill our hearts with a willingness
to forgive and see beyond
past wrongdoings.
May we give thanks for
all our gifts and blessings;

Exercise Mind and Body, Embrace Spirit
Beloveds,
When we exercise our body,
our mind becomes more alert
and more willing
to align with Divine Spirit.
Walk, skip, run
and dance in celebration of
God's unconditional,
everlasting Love for YOU!
Share your joy with others
and watch the light of love
grow into a rainbow heart.
God loves us, in this moment;
every moment...
and enjoys
when we connect with Divine Spirit!
Today connect with Divine Spirit...
walk,skip,run and dance
with loving celebration of life!

Listening
Beloveds,
We must take more time for listening.
Even in the silence
we should listen carefully
to the joyful song of the Uni- Verse.
Listening also offers the
compassionate gift of sharing
and often, heals the hurt
behind the wound
through better understanding.
Please take more time to listen
because listening is
an important gateway to peace
of mind, body and Spirit.
How will you listen today?
I am listening.

Don't Limit yourself
Beloveds,
Don't limit yourselves!
Try not to predict every outcome
but know that as time passes,
All Shall Be Revealed.
This way,
as each new step
of your journey unfolds;
you will live your True Destiny!

What song do you sing?
Beloveds,
Yyesterday I sat with two young men
as they discussed their dreams.
One was on his way to Kenya
to meet other South Sudanese
and plan for the future
of his war-torn country.
We talked of the world
and its many challenges.
Though their life journeys
had been painful,
I saw passion for good
in their eyes,
hope in their smiles
and a commitment to hard work
with love in their hearts.
I realized that I was sitting
with two future
world history makers;
and I feltthe whole Uni- Verse
vibrate and sing a song of love!
Tell me, what is your dream;
who do you support;
what song are you singing today?

Divine Guidance
Beloveds,
an Affirmation....
I am happy to be alive,
grateful to begin this day.
As I ask for

I learn to step into
new understanding.

I try to meet
each being with loving respect.....

Understanding
Beloveds,
when we awaken with understanding,
everyday miracles become
a constant in our lives.
We begin to see and experience
the Infinite love of our Creator.
It is a love that asks for nothing
but gives everything in the universe
and accepts whatever we give
as a precious gift.
Love provides us daily sustenance.
Love allows us the free will of discovery
to stumble and fall;
to grow in understanding with compassion;
to seek forgiveness;
to forgive ourselves;
and to awaken as
Spirits living in divine grace.

letting go of the days challenges
Beloveds,
When we sit quietly,
letting go of the days challenges,
we learn to have compassion
and love for ourselves.
In this way as we honor our frailties,
our courage and our strength
--- hope returns.
This is Divine Spirit in action.
We begin to heal with unconditional love,
and discover that we have more
love and compassion to share with others.
Today please take time to be quiet.
Divine Spirit will move through you
with unconditional love and compassion.
As you accept this nurturing;
so you can become more energized
to love and nurture
all sentient beings
with hope, compassion
and gentle understanding.

Be Memorable
Beloveds,
It's okay to be memorable
and marvelous.
After all, you were born
with marvelous gifts
to share.
Your smile lights the room.
Your eyes reflect the compassion
of your beautiful heart.
And your voice
so filled with love
helps to heal....
Marvelous, memorable
kind Spirit
in Human Form,
how will you use your gifts today?
May new understanding fill your gentle heart!

A New Day
Beloveds,
On an early morning
not long ago
it seemed the Sky was painted
with whisperings of orange,
and red and yellow,
and green and purple.
Grey white Clouds
with tints of powder blue
formed a pathway
as the Moon began her journey
back into the Universe.
As she traveled
the Compassionate Moon
came upon the Sun
who greeted her with a gentle kiss
filled with understanding and love.
Thus with the joining of
Mother Moon and Father Sun
came the Breath of Divine Grace
and the Morning Star was born.
Far away
on planet Earth=Heart
trees rustled in the wind
with loving appreciation
and respect for the dawn
of a New Day.
And throughout the world
people of all cultures,
religions and traditions
rose in celebration
and gave thanks
for the Miracle of a New Day.
May A Loving Peace Reside In YOU!

divine mystery of love....

Good Annointed
Beloveds,
Each of you has been annointed
with good!
Divine grace will prevail!
No matter what this moment reveals,
we must learn to live through the lessons.
Yes, there is still racism in America.
There are many who feel those
who are different are a threat
to their survival.
This is fear magnified
by a minority who desire
to keep us fighting eachother
so that they re-gain control.
There are also many more
who believe we should live together
and support each other in love.
You are the annointed.
Together we must embrace our lessons
and move on with courage and hope.
We must Use our voices and our resources
to come together in love.
It it here that our next steps
will be revealed!
Together we can heal and nurture
the seeds of hope filled with
a future of collective cooperation.
Now is the time for us to
begin again with re-newed
enthusiasm and love!

How will you live the Answer?
Beloveds,
All that I write has been said before.
It has been written in our sacred texts
and lived by the gentle Masters
who have come to guide us.
It is we, as a collective that
must learn to take heed.
In the world today we are focusing
our resources and attention
on sustainining the desires a
nd materialist greed of the corrupt.
Too many billions of us are living
in poverty without adequate shelter,
education or healthcare.
Too many of us are becoming drunk
with idea of materialist success
and we listen to those
who incite fear and divide us.
Only love will heal and unite us.
We are many people,
many cultures, many religions.
We must learn to respect eachother,
and to support those in need.
Our willingness to love one another
and to want for others
what we want for ourselves
is the most important mandate
of the world today.
Will we learn to share
and live together in peace
with respect and love?
This is the question.
How will you live the answer?

Prayers for Haiti and the World
Please join me in prayers for Haiti
and all those who may be affected
as the storm Tomas hits,
and those suffering everywhere.
May there be minimum damage.
May people have courage
and move to areas where
they will be safe.
May the support needed to heal
and save lives be available now!
Let us right now send our love
to our brothers and sisters.
Let our hope for their survival be felt.
Let us see beyond the storm and ask
that our governments of the world
to collectively move forward in
creating safe shelter and reconstruction
of the infra-structure as promised
to Haiti, and other
countries in crisis right now.
May massive healing manifest
as people thrive and grow in love
with resources to live throughout
the Carribean, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan
and every country where people
are suffering and in need of support.
Miracles are possible.
Let us pray for new miracles right now!
May our prayers be heard
and our loving hearts felt.
And so it is! Thank you!

Be Still
Beloveds,
Many of us live in a state of anxiety.
We forget that our stillness
can help calm and relax us.
Another benefit is that
when we become still,
we are able to experience
an emptiness and a profound peace.
And in our stillness,
we re-connect with Spirit.
When our mind and body
stop the chatter,
MotherFatherGod
begins the conversation.
Are you ready to listen?
If you are,
then today take time to Be Still.

A November Love Note-- The Last Stand of Tyrants
A November Note from Miss Mellie Rainbow
Beloveds,
Let us thank each remarkable being that shares strength, courage, and joy or teaches us lessons that help us grow in love. May we live this day, and every day growing in awareness and walking as beings of compassionate appreciation and understanding. There are many heroines and heroes among us!
Even as these times on Earth reveal a schism of selfishness, there is a mass awakening of sentient beings expressing their true loving selves. Miracles lay strewn in every path we walk, bringing us new gifts.
Unfortunately this is a time of intense agony for those suffering in the mire of fear and dis-connected from Divine Spirit. Tyrants around the world will continue to try to assert their ungodly will as they take their last stand.
Still everywhere we can feel the ecstasy of Earth Angels awakening and soaring with the Spirit of compassion and love.
Though many are experiencing the most dire of circumstances, our children will continue to act as beacons of light. Nurture and pay attention to the children. They bring us hope and loving wonder. Through the innocence of our children, we are often inspired with new faith. Honor our elders with unconditional love; for they have shown us the way and held the space for our awakening. They too are important teachers.
Every day, small seeds of wisdom are given to us through our willingness to accept Divine Grace. We have new opportunity every day to grow in awareness, respect, and love for eachother.
Today please re-member that love is a verb---an action word. It can also be an adjective or a noun.
As each one of us becomes love, we also become a heroine or hero. Together as we blossom, we will flourish and multiply in goodness.
And through Goodness, Heaven On Earth will be restored. This is the word of LOVE!

Patiently Waiting
Beloveds,
For more time than we can imagine
GOD has said...
"I will wait for you,
patiently---
even while many of you dis-regard
each moment of grace
and move with selfish intent."
Few have heard
but GOD still speaks...
"I will wait for you
patiently---
through your time of greed;
your wars and your petty arguments."
And as we have
begun to listen
the Few have become More...
Many of us now
hear the call,
the Divine Whisper...
"I will wait,
patiently--
for I know that
beyond your fear
and need for separateness,
there is only LOVE."
And GOD's Hope remains,
for even in the darkness
of the night,
Stars Light the Universe.
Are you listening?
Are you a Star?
This is the Word of LOVE!
For more time than we can imagine

Love in the Time of Cholera in Haiti by Rev. Marcia Dyson
Love in the Time of the Haitian Cholera

The Haitian people's will to survive, and thrive, is mighty. It's time for black Americans to spread some love to our Caribbean cousins -- love that can be felt in tangible ways.

I've always admired the haunting beauty and sad grace of Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez's novel Love in the Time of Cholera. But I never imagined that his title would conjure the force we'll need to fight Haiti's freshest suffering: an outbreak of cholera that threatens the loss of thousands of lives.
It's fitting that the novel in which Márquez temporarily loosens the hold of magical realism is the one that symbolizes Haiti's plight today. There's little state magic to speak of, and the economic realities that this country faces are tragic and legion. But my God, the will and spirit of the people remains indescribably, well, magical, to say the least. I've gotten to know Haiti and its people a lot better over the last two years as I've served and traveled throughout the complicated outlines of this besieged geography.
Haiti's present troubles may yet prove faithful to a script that seems passed down from on high: A small but mighty colony of oppressed black subjects will resist and rise just when nobody gives them a chance in hell to survive. That was certainly true of Haiti at its birth.
In 1804 the nation roared into existence after a decade-long slave revolt fomented by Toussaint Louverture, which ultimately resulted in Napoleon getting beaten at his own game -- and the world's first republic winning independence from France.
Haiti's will to rise was certainly challenged during U.S. military occupation of the country from 1915 to 1934, and its national urge to strength was surely suppressed as the U.S. exerted direct or indirect control of the Haitian economy from 1905 to 1947.
And through a string of tyrants, incompetents and soiled idealists at the helm of the nation (some with American support, or at least with our willingness to look the other way while the country was lost and looted), Haiti's people have managed to keep faith, even though that faith has been unjustly savaged and satirized as "Voodoo" -- with the scare quotes in tow -- little more than a hodgepodge of hocus pocus and superstition.
But that's the retail version of Vodou, pushed in the marketplace of ignorance and bigotry. In Haitian Vodou, practiced widely by much of the population, the spirits of the departed -- sa nou pa we yo, those we don't see -- don't fly away but remain near to those left behind, permitting the suffering living the triumphant advantage of laughing in the face of death.
That's not a fatalistic position but a supremely hopeful one; after all, the living have had so much death to defy. Is Vodou any more unrealistic a remedy than, say, colonial exploitation and schemes of duplicitous rationality deployed by would-be saviors in military or ministerial garb?

Cooperation
Beloveds,
What we need most right now
is a spirit of cooperation.
Universal school yard fights
with drones and ak-47's
are destroying our communities,
our resources,
our children,
our hearts
and our Earth.
Instead we must heal the sick,
feed the hungry,
educate our children
build communities with
respect for eachother
and offer All a reason
to exist in peace with loving cooperation.
Cooperation---This is the work
that we must invest in NOW.

Dear Friend(s) I have blind copied this email to protect my friends from unwanted solicitation, As you all know, I spent much time in Haiti pre Earthquake and am there 2 two weeks of the month post the natural disaster. And I have just returned on Saturday with plans on returning as soon as Tuesday.
The situation with the cholera outbreak is tragic and is a result of not the earthquake, but of poor international usage of aid money and of inept governance by Haitian officials and I must confess the United States. That being said, whatever you think the last few days have been chaotic to say the least. The situation in Haiti as you know is very dire and by the minute, we are getting emails with more bad news and new areas of outbreak from the Ministry of Health, as well as desperate calls from St Marc that there are children on the floor dying because there is such a severe shortage of supplies and medical personnel.
Although Project Medishare is on the frontlines in the Artibonite, Central Plateau and PAP fighting this epidemic as we speak. There are 100+ community health workers who are canvassing the camps with prevention tools and education, as well as our hundreds of doctors and nurses in country who are working closely with Haitian Ministry of Health at these clinics to provide manpower and support in St Marc as well as the new areas of outbreak. Medishare has been called upon by the American Red Cross as well as Partners In Health for back-up in the areas outside of St Marc which are now showing major outbreaks and we have been asked to get our four massive 5,000 sq feet field hospital tents put up out of the ground to provide 20,000sq feet of additional hospital space to treat patients, setting up cots as most are laying on the ground, and providing antibiotics, bleach, water tablets, buckets etc.
We are mobilizing a major cargo shipment down Tuesday with additional supplies to help in St Marc and Artibonite and assist the Haitians red cross as they are experiencing shortages in many areas. We should have these makeshift cholera treatment centers in the four 5,000sq foot tents built up by Tues (they are being built right now) so that we have space to treat an additional 400-500 patients at a time, as well as getting portable AC units and fans up to these areas because of the heat+high fevers, people are losing their lives much faster before they can get treatment in the overrun hospitals.
We were hoping for containment and prevention but because of the alarm this caused in St Marc, there was a mass exodus out of the area and into PAP which we suspect has now carried cases into PAP and the MSPP (ministry of health) have given a very dire outlook on the situation with another 800,000 cases and deaths possible in the next 6 months if we can't get this contained.
I am helping to augment the work of Medishare and Red Cross Haiti by working directly with one the most solid foundations in the country, that has poured millions of unannounced money back into their countrymen. This too the Haiti I know.
I ask for those of you who are leery of not knowing how your funds are used, to support my work, and you know that I have always done my ministry with integrity and transparency to the Lucienne Deschamps Foundation. It is a 501 (c) 3 non profit that educates and informs the people. We are distributing directly to the families sanitation supplies and working with teachers in the school. We work DIRECTLY with families for preventive measures like the cholera.
Look forward to seeing many frontline accounts from me on what is really happening in Haiti. The Haitians in the countryside and in Port au Prince may feel like this is another act of God. It is not. IS IT MANMADE and could have been prevented long ago. For every bottle of water sent, an inch of water pipe could have been built. For every tent a transitional house by now could have been built.
But for now, please contribute to the Lucienne Deschamps Foundation. Checks can be made out to the foundation and mailed to me at:

As an United States tax payer, you should be concerned where and to whom the 1.5 billion dollar pledge to Haiti is going, and what sustainable deliverables are being guaranteed by contractor and suppliers. For all the money we have sent to Haiti for the last 20 years, and this is not bad shepherding on Haiti's government, most funds went to American NGO's and contractors.
And for my African American friends. make the African relevant. Sean Penn, a friend was passing me in the air GOING TO HAITI as I left to call upon the calvary. I spoke with George Clooney during a flight to Los Angeles last week before he appeared on Larry King regarding Darfur and thanked him for his work on behalf of Haiti also. I fasted 21 days with Mia Farrow last Spring for Haiti (pre earthquake), Darfur and the youth violence in my hometown of Chicago. This is my ministry, but the countries and communities that were served by the above are ours. Thank God for Clooney, Farrow, Jolie. Where are OUR stars, where is the celebrity. As children of the legacy of Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hammer, Ella Baker, Ida B. Wells Barnett isn't it time we join enmass Bessie Ross (seamstress of the American flag) Catherine Flon, an Haitian from the town of Arcahaien (located outside of Port-au-Prince) who seamed the flag of Haiti after its' revolution in 1803. Thus, while Catherine Flon is often a forgotten figure in our AFRICAN cherished history, the significance of her creation is greatly remembered as she constructed more than just a mere patchwork of material and color but a commemoration of our tumultuous struggles and the heroes of Haiti's past, Toussaint L'ourverture, Jean Jacques Dessaline, Alexandre Petion, and Capois La Mort; but a reminder to me that our struggles as African descent people are never ceased. If we cannot join our fair skinned brothers and sisters in causes that impact African descent people, I ask that you drop your African ID and call us what we are: Negro Americans once more.
There are many beautiful people, places and promised in Haiti. While I work on the rebuilding of spirit and help post earthquake, I am also at work on rebuilding Haiti by Haitians who are educated, capable, have some funding sources, who are not what the media says of them. PLEASE don't believe all you see and hear (op-ed and articles on that from me after the crisis). I will be soon posting my MNN, Marcia News Network to keep you abreast of our plight and rebuilding of Haiti. It is an inspiring country.
Thanks for those who support me and read my wild, flurry of emails in all I attempt to do for "God least of these."

Date: Sunday, October 24, 2010, 1:17 PM

How We Should Act
Beloveds,
when we speak of hate,
it manifests.
Speak only of love.

Enjoy the Fruit of the Universe
Beloveds,
There are those of us
who only want to eat
the apple
but when we have No Preferences,
we are able to embrace
the moment and enjoy
the fruit of the season!
Life give us opportunity
and the flexibility of fruit.
We can learn to develop a taste
for the many fruit of the universe!
What fruit will you share and enjoy today?

Be the Blessing!
Beloveds,
We are learning to always
simply pay attention
to what spirit may
call on us to do.
And to see no one as
an enemy but simply
a reflection of the unloved self.
And to the unloved self,
we must learn to extend
compassion and lovingkindness.
Affirmation:Today when I meet someone
heart to heart,
I will show them love...
I will share my joy!
Today BE the blessing
you asked for ...and needed!

Ever Expanding Love
Beloveds,
Do we stop loving when we disagree
or because we feel the impermanence of life?
As we stop villainizing the "other",
we move into a vivid loving state of grace.
It is here that we learn that the love
of our creator is infinite and ever expanding
as we are willing to receieve and reflect love!
Today please don't stop loving.
Try to see no "other" and re-commit
to divine love as eternal truth!
Enjoy this day of grace!

Myopic Vision
Beloveds,
when people don't see or prevent
our meaness to eachother,
it breaks my heart.
Still I hold on to hope and faith
in Infinite Spirit moving through
our human collective.
We are developing as beings
in search of understanding.
As we are able, to expand our hearts,
we will let go of our myopic visions
of self and develop a vivid compassionate
love for all!
Today please, look beyond yourself
and offer many new acts of loving kindness.

Success at the Oasis
Beloveds,
Even if it looks like
we will fail in our efforts for peace,
we must continue to believe that
our efforts have value.
Success lies in our willingness
to walk through
the desert of despair
and to keep sharing the love
in our hearts---no matter what!
We will reach the oasis!
Peace!

Share Your Gifts of the Heart
Beloveds,
A smile,or a hug
can be precious
if it is given
from the heart.
A note written
to say how are you?
Happy birthday!
or I love you!
may be cherished
for a lifetime...
A phone call to an
old friend letting
them know that you
are thinking of them
may bring tears to
their eyes.
A visit to a sick friend
-- just sitting quietly
holding their hand
can let them know they
are loved and make a
difficult time
easier to bear.
These are the gifts
of the heart that may
be filled with infinite love.
Be a loving tool of divine grace.
Always try to offer
encouragement to others.
No matter the occassion
or just because,
share many gifts of your heart!
Today love,laugh and live graciously!

Be Good to YOU
Beloveds,
It is not just important
to be good to others.
Be good to you,
care for you and nurture you.
Be gentle with you!
In doing so, you will be
better able to share
that same compassion with others.
Be good to you so that you
are willing to be good,
care for and nurture others
tenderly with compassion and joy!

Wrongdoings and 10-10-10
Beloveds,
We must try to never loan our names
or participate knowingly in wrongdoings.
Listen to your heart.
Follow the path of integrity and love.
Sometimes when there is no peaceful,
positive resolution, it is better
to walk away graciously.
Be patience. Be hopeful.
Keep the bridge open and pray
for another's awakening
in compassionate understanding.
Truth will be revealed, eventually.
Right now re-member that Divine Spirit
is leading you and will give you
a better way to serve with integrity and love!
-----
Beloveds,
10-10-10, this great, magnificent day
will never come again!
Be bold!
Enjoy each moment in love.
Plant new seeds for your success
in helping to create a more joyful,
loving world.
Have courage, compassion
and a can-do attitude!
You are an incredible spirit
with great gifts to share.
Most importantly, love is on your side.
10-10-10! Now it is time for you to begin!
Be joyful, kind and loving!
With loving respect for you
as a great, magnificent spirit!

Being Thankful, and Seeing GOD
Beloveds,
What do we have to be thankful for?
When we are alive,
we learn to be thankful
for every experience
that offers us a moment
to awaken within our hearts.
I invite you to join me
as I say thank you...
Thank You for each moment
of Loving Grace.
Thank you for each
learning opportunity which
calls for me to expand
and develop in deep understanding.
Thank you for each mistake
which has given me new wisdom.
Thank you for showing me true
compassion in the hearts of others,
as I learn to meet them heart to heart.
Thank you for my tears
which show me the unlimited
depth of my heart, much like
the vastness of your Uni-Verse.
Thank you for the disappointment
and hard lessons that allow me to learn
to release judgement and discover
new gifts because I am able to
let go of my expectations.
Thank you for allowing me
deep listening, as well as
an incomprehensible space
that leaves me with joy to share.
Thank you for the breath of
your Loving Grace, and your
constant Divine Whisperings
that resides within me
and All Others.
Thank you for every argument
and world tantrum that calls
for All of Humanity
to let go of our
selfishness and greed.
Today I let go of my attachment
to what I think I know.
As I awaken within Your Heart,
I embrace the unknown with
hope, infinite faith and
appreciation for each Miracle
of Life!
And So it Is With Love,
-------------
Beloveds,
When I can see good within you,
I can feel God within me.
In you, each of you,
I see much Good!
Because of your good,
within me are divine whispers
of understanding, appreciation
and a desire to know
God within you.
And I do--- for God is love
and flows from you to me,
and me to you!
When I feel God within me,
I am able always to see Good in You!
What do we have to be thankful for?
When we are alive,
we learn to be thankful
for every experience
that offers us a moment
to awaken within our hearts.
I invite you to join me
as I say thank you...
Thank You for each moment
of Loving Grace.
Thank you for each
learning opportunity which
calls for me to expand
and develop in deep understanding.
Thank you for each mistake
which has given me new wisdom.
Thank you for showing me true
compassion in the hearts of others,
as I learn to meet them heart to heart.
Thank you for my tears
which show me the unlimited
depth of my heart, much like
the vastness of your Uni-Verse.
Thank you for the disappointment
and hard lessons that allow me to learn
to release judgement and discover
new gifts because I am able to
let go of my expectations.
Thank you for allowing me
deep listening, as well as
an incomprehensible space
that leaves me with joy to share.
Thank you for the breath of
your Loving Grace, and your
constant Divine Whisperings
that resides within me
and All Others.
Thank you for every argument
and world tantrum that calls
for All of Humanity
to let go of our
selfishness and greed.
Today I let go of my attachment
to what I think I know.
As I awaken within Your Heart,
I embrace the unknown with
hope, infinite faith and
appreciation for each Miracle
of Life!
And So it Is With Love,
-------------
Beloveds,
When I can see good within you,
I can feel God within me.
In you, each of you,
I see much Good!
Because of your good,
within me are divine whispers
of understanding, appreciation
and a desire to know
God within you.
And I do--- for God is love
and flows from you to me,
and me to you!
When I feel God within me,
I am able always to see Good in You!

Divine Intention/ Trust your
Beloveds,
Each day some of us listen
to commentators on the radio
or television who breed
hate and incite fear.
Many of us don't know whom to trust.
Our media is creating insanity
day after day.
Stop allowing voices of hate,
fear and separation to control
your understanding.
Turn your tv and radio off.
Talk to your children.
Read books to your children.
Teach them--- so that you re-member
the divine life principles.
"Thou shalt not kill or steal.
Honor your mother, your father
and all elders.
Love one another and
honor your neighbor as yourself!"
The gift of life and love resides within you.
Today please---turn off the tv and radio.
Listen to the divine within you.
Trust your heart and be discerning,
kind, and respectful to others
---even when you disagree!
Begin to live, and love with divine intention!

wait until ready
Beloveds,
No matter how good our intentions,
we must be careful not to force
our lifestyle, our truth or wisdom
on others.
If we do, they may resent us!
Offer small portions with love,
expect nothing.
Share a little more.
Embrace their response
with respect and love.
Be patient.
Wait until one is ready to accept your gift.
All will awaken in time.
Now go and embrace the divine whispers of you heart!

Receiving Inspiration
Beloveds,
When we feel inspiration
we feel blessed divine spirit
moving within us.
We are able to create or receive
an answer when we clear our minds.
Today, clear your mind,
open your heart and pay attention
to the blessed divine spirit
moving within you.
Inspiration brings kindness,
honest understanding
and appreciation!
It allows you to embrace
your true greatness!

Greate Change
Beloveds,
We are in a time of great change.
We are the creators of our tomorrow.
We must have great courage
and choose to build our communities
with hope.
Each act of kindness

Build many bridges!

Change
Beloveds,
Like the weather and the seasons,
the only constant in life is change.
There will sunshine and rain.
Storms will come and after,
rainbows of hope through our loving,
compassionate deeds will appear.
Through it all, we learn more
about ourselves--and the infinite
universe of our hearts.
We will re-build and re-create
better and stronger communities
as we mourn our losses.
We learn the importance of humility,
kindness and divine grace.
Today, we are in a time of great change.
We must choose good!
Every moment as we breathe,
we must let go of our fear
and bring forth our courage
as we learn to share and reflect
understanding with divine infinite love!

The Awakened Heart
Beloveds,
Some walk with humilty
and compassion and don't see
themselves as different
than others.
They simply walk with hope
and faith as beings in service
to the universe.
These are the great ones
with awakened hearts.
You are great!
How will you serve the Universe today?

Being Overwhelmed
Beloveds,
Have you been overwhelmed by our collective
in-ability to re-connect in love?
I have, and it is difficult at moments
to breathe in the love of our creator
and to see good in all.
Our selfishness has brought forth a
tremendous imbalance throughout the planet.
Only love can return the balance.
Please re-member that as we undergo
this violent argument--this universal
struggle between the forces
of loving cooperation
versus fear and materialistic control,
we must be careful to
honor the cultures of others.
We must re-activate our inner listening
and use compassionate communication
in all negotiations-- be it family,
friends, corporations or nations
in conflict.
Our goal should be to do no harm
and to always do good!
This is the way, the divine call
and truth of love!
Your true compassion and honest
respect for others can restore
balance and hope on Earth!
Today please---Live and Breathe Love!

Do What You Can
Beloveds,
How do we achieve our dreams?
We must always do
what we can do,
so that we have and appreciate
the resources that we need to live.
Then we are able to share our gifts
and keep working to get what we want!
Achieving our dreams takes appreciation,
diligence, patience, a willingness to share
our gifts and hard work!
There is joy in the journey!

Beloveds,
So often we feel
that we are lacking,
that our lives would be fuller
if we had more.
In reality for many of us
our lives would be fuller
and more abundant if we
re-membered to share More.
Abundance and true wealth is
the willingness to share
the warm and giving spirit
of our hearts!
Today remember that you
have many gifts of love to share!
You are blessed with
divine abudance and wealth!
Simply say
"I am wealthy and enjoy sharing!"
Be ready to experience new joy!

Beloveds,
In todays world,
we often expect others to offer
us kindness even when we are impatient.
We say "It's their job.
Can't they move faster?".
Yet sometimes in our hurriedness
and disregard,we forget
to show our gratitude--
to say please and thank you
or to see others as worthy
of our civility.
Today, please try to show your civility.
Be patient--- look into someone's eyes,
smile and express your appreciation
for even the smallest deed.
It may bring you both a moment of joy!

On Disagreement
Beloveds,
We have all had our disagreements.
Still we must always find a way
to be the peace,
and make the peace.
Knowing this, today in disagreement,
have this thought....
"I will take steps towards you
in integrity and loving grace.
My hope is that you will meet me halfway.
Still if you are unable
to make the journey,
I will understand and
keep walking until
we are side by side.
Then I will offer my hand in hope,
and respect with compassion."
Today, Make the Peace,Be the PEACE!!!

On Making Mistakes, Living the Answers
Beloveds,
We all make mistakes.
Then hopefully we search
for a solution,
not in anger but in love.
Often when we are angry,
no one can help us
because we are not honest
in our questions to ourselves.
Therefore we cannot learn
to live good answers.
Affirmation: Today I will question
and be honest with myself.
I will see myself in all beings
and offer only my best in love.
Honesty, understanding and
compassion are tools that help me
to live good answers!
This is the word of love!

An Autumn Note with Love from Miss Mellie Rainbow
What Does Hope Do???
Beloveds,
In the early morning as the sun rose,
I watched the dawn of a new day
and wondered if I had the courage
to open up my life to hope.
In Haiti, in Pakistan, China
and the United States
the rain storms have devastated many
---destroyed homes, lives
and the hearts of people.
In parts of Africa,
full of natural resources,
the results of European colonialism
loom on through poverty,
ethnic cleansing and children
carrying ak-47's protecting
the diamonds of some warlord
who steals and kills without conscience.
And what of me?
What is my part in this country
gone mad with hate and drones
flying across the world
--- leaving villages and cities
destroyed and children dead
or without limbs or parents?
As we talk of peace in
Afghanistan, and Iraq,
missiles fly through Gaza.
Even I must question why there
are fewer jobs and opportunities
as international business moguls
become wealthier on the spoils of war.
In Sudan the first democratic elections
face possible delays
and Peace Prize winner
Aung San Suu Kyi
is still under house arrest in Myamar.
Still, hopeful Palestinians
and Israelis alike
call for equity and peace
so that their children can
grow safely in love.
Hope acts as a common denominator.
And as China attempts to dismantle
the Tibetan culture and language,
it invests heavily in Africa, Latin America
and North America-- and declares itself
a humanitarian world power.
In Mongolia, where some love
and revere the Dalai Lama,
they are told that Chinese aid will be
withdrawn if they choose to keep
the Dalai Lama on a commemorative stamp.
The Mongolian government destroys the stamp.
Is there any hope for our world turned upside down?
At 3am this morning a male voice
screamed--- "you are nothing" and then,
I heard the sound of 3 shots fired
and laughter in the street before the dead silence.
Many of our children have lost their way.
One said he would like to change
and live a different life but he couldn't
--- for there were those waiting
to kill him for his past deeds.
But what about forgiveness?
What about hope?
In the early morning as the sun rose,
I watched the dawn of a new day.
My heart was heavy. Is there any hope?
And then a glimpse of the future
flashed before me.
Beyond the war and destruction,
somehow we had learned to share.
Neighbors and world leaders alike
had learned compassion and were
learning to walk with forgiveness, patience,
understanding and love for eachother.
People were able to honor their own faiths
and traditions as long as they did
no harm to others.
Education and peacebuilding became
a reality for all the children of the earth.
As they were nurtured,
so were all parents and grandparents
and each sentient being nurtured
-- for we had embraced a universal circle of love.
In the early morning as the sun rose,
I watched the dawn of a new day.
In my vision, the world had blossomed
beyond war and into a vivid loving peace.
We served as a living example for every universe!
This is the future I believe we can choose to have.
Today, I have awakened with infinite and eternal hope.
Love will abide! Please join me so we can create
a loving future for our children!
loving you.....

Neighbors and world leaders alike
had learned compassion and were
learning to walk with forgiveness, patience,
understanding and love for eachother.
People were able to honor their own faiths
and traditions as long as they did
no harm to others.
Education and peacebuilding became
a reality for all the children of the earth.
As they were nurtured,
so were all parents and grandparents
and each sentient being nurtured
-- for we had embraced a universal circle of love.
In the early morning as the sun rose,
I watched the dawn of a new day.
In my vision, the world had blossomed
beyond war and into a vivid loving peace.
We served as a living example for every universe!
This is the future I believe we can choose to have.
Today, I have awakened with infinite and eternal hope.
Love will abide! Please join me so we can create
a loving future for our children!
loving you.....

Melodies and Re-newal
Beloveds,
When others have forgotten
the rhythm of love,
it takes courage to live in divine truth.
All around us there are those
who fear embracing oneness.
Still by being gentle, genuine and generous,
we are able to create the melodies of hope.
Today re-member that you
are supported and loved.
Follow the Universal Conductor
within your heart.
Let the melody of your life be gentle,
genuine and generous, and filled with grace.
Have courage and live t
he divine truth of your life
in the rhythm of love!
Peace! miss mellie rainbow
Beloveds,
Sometimes we are the ones
causing our own unhappiness
by believing we are not worthy
of love and compassion.
What old skeletons do you have to excavate?
Dig deep into your discovery.
Embrace your old secrets and bring them
into the healing light of love and forgiveness.
Have compassion, love and patience
for yourself--- and you will be able
to extend compassion, patience and love to others.
You are worthy!
Move forward into divine renewal and grace.
Now re-discover all the miracles of good
and the love within and around you!
Life is glorious! ---mss mellie rainbow

Clear Vision
Beloveds,
When we pay attention
to the details of life
and listen to all that is said
or not said,
we develop clarity
and a knowingness of truth.
Truth commands that we develop
our own self discipline.
Then we are able to move forward
with a clear vision and a bold heart!
What is you truth?
How will you move forward?
Today, listen
carefully-- embrace your vision,
have a bold heart
--- and enjoy your journey!

Preparing for Dissonance
Beloveds,
When you are
doing good in the world,
there will be
voices of dissonance.
People will tell you it's not possible
to do better and that you
should be satisfied
with the way it is.
They will try hard to fill you
with their own fearful thoughts.
Prepare for dissonance.
You can choose not to
embrace their fear!
Each day is a new day
filled with hope and courage.
Listen to the divine whispers
of your heart.
Be who you are.
Use your gifts for good.
Do your work.
Today,
keep doing good and
allow love always to abide in you!

Like yourself! and be a billionaire of love!
Beloveds,
Today like yourself,
laugh often and live life with faith.
Be still for a moment.
Breathe deeply, again and again.
Now receive--- and embrace
the ever encompassing
wisdom of divine spirit.
Have courage.
In your head dance with hope, sing of love.
Yes it is okay to be marvelous!
Now go and share the wealth of your ever loving heart.
Peace, miss mellie rainbow
-----
Beloveds,
Our riches are limitedless.
We have the potential to feed
all those hungry on this earth.
And if wealth was the warmth,
the love and giving spirit of our hearts,
we would all be billionaires.
In fact, God believes we are!
Today, re-discover the joy
and love within you.
You are a billionaire and have much
to share with the world!
Now open your heart with infinite love.
Begin to feed those who are hungry, hurting,
disillusioned and in need of love!
Remind them, as you have been reminded
--- in God's heart we each have a special,
unique gift to share.
We are all billionaires! This is the word of love!

Today nurture yourself,

Always love you,

Sparkle through the Darkness
Sparkle through the Darkness
Beloveds,
Many have said that this is a time of great darkness.
It could be, because some have lost
value for the divine beauty
and simplicity of life.
Still, within the darkness
---by our questioning and our search for light
we can come to a new understanding.
When we embrace love without fear
as our practice, we heal.
In our healing we become
sparkling, bright lights within the Universe.
The truth is all things grow and heal
with love and become infused with Divine Light.
Today, sparkle with your loving actions
and feel your blessings and gifts multiply!

In Wonderment
Beloveds,
As I look at a bed of flowers
or a tree seaped in the brown
colored dirt of my skin,
I think also of dolphins
and fish swimming in
the blue green ocean.
And I am in awe!
I taste a banana, an apple,
an avacado or any fruit
or vegetable of our Earth=Heart
and I feel in it the sun
that nourishes us.
And on a clear night
I stare in wonderment
at faraway clouds and stars
that appear to dance with the moon.
I breathe deeply and think--
"Surely within our hearts is
the memory of a Divine Creator
passionately in love with us al!"
And as always,
then I return to love
as the foundation of my life.
Please join me!---miss mellie rainbow

one kind word
Beloveds, one kind word
said to another
can inspire them to greatness!
So much of what is really important
we forget to say.
Even to those we disagree with,
we must offer a kind word.
Today, smile at a stranger
and say hello.
Compliment your family members
friends and co-workers.
Say only good and watch
the mystery of the day
unfold in beauty when you
become the fruit of divine love!
______
Beloveds,
Why do we disdain one another?
Your blood is as red as my blood
and our tears both taste salty,
like the ocean.
You have mourned your lost dreams
and loved ones, as I have mourned mine.
As I watch our children happily
playing together,
new dreams emerge and to you
I offer my hand in friendship.
We cannot change our yesterdays.
What we can do is to begin
this new day in appreciation
of our children as our most precious gifts.
Our children offer love and dream
of building bridges of understanding and joy.
This dream for is possible

Affirmation: today let us honor the dreams

and hope for a better world for our children.
This is love in action-- love infinite in divine possibility!
____
Beloveds,
is there one among us or our ancestors
who has caused no harm?
Do we desire to continue to destroy
ourselves through hate and anger?
Our greed and need for power
has created dangerous cycles of destruction.
We must stop now!
It is time for us to renew our spirits.
Honor the dead
and give their lives meaning in love.
There is no true way to heal
except to acknowlege the pain
and offer forgiveness.
How does this happen?
Only through compassion, and love.
Love is the gift that heals our hearts
and creates room for spiritual renewal.
There is hope only through love.
Renew your spirit.
Affirmation: Today we honor the dead
for they have been returned to God.
We give their lives meaning

and begin to build a world of eternal grace!

so that the fragrance of love can pourthrough you.
Breathe deeply four times.
Simply be in the moment of now.
Feel the bliss of peace and new understanding.

Beloveds, though we desire harmony,
sometimes we are carrying around dissonant stuff.
Today is a good day to let go of the old and new stuff
that serves no purpose o

Make way for new miracles.
Clear your home and your heart!
Affirmation: today I let go of dissonant stuff

I have to be changed in love.

Beloveds,
as children at play we laugh, cry,
fall down, get up, get angry,
forgive, forget, hold hands
and declare we are
best friends forever.
What understanding and compassion
we are born with.
How great to play and re-member love!
Live life, Play,well!
Bring your light to the world!

let us begin this day in faith;
knowing that any obstacle is a part of our journey in grace.
Meet each being in love.
Offer your hand with compassion and respect.
Listen in appreciation to their unique perspective.
For it is in listening that we discover our true commonality.
Affirmation: I am listening! today I listen to others with an open heart
and together we discover a good solution to any challenge!
Have a beautiful day listening!

Beloveds,
today open the windows and doors of your heart
so that the fragrance of love can pourthrough you.
Breathe deeply four times.
Simply be in the moment of now.
Feel the bliss of peace and new understanding.
For me, the air I breathe,
my heart and the words I write
are all love's creations to be shared.

Our Woundedness
Beloveds,
In some way,
we have all been wounded
or wounded another.
Our purpose is not
to hold anger or retaliate.
Our purpose is to l
earn forgiveness, to love
and to heal ourselves
as we do good,
and help others heal.
Thus we become wounded healers.
Our most precious jewels
then become our acts of love.
Thus we are able
to live a life
of compassion and peace.
What acts of love will you share today?
Wishing you the best always! miss mellie rainbow

What the future holds
Beloveds,
In these days of harmonic dissonance,
we must be careful of what we say
and what we do.
Our sometimes venomous ideas
and violent arguments may backfire.
What may happen is this---the very people
we believe we despise today,
our daughters and sons will love tomorrow.
There is a strong possibility
that in their love
they will betray our hate
and marry those
we thought were our enemies.
Our children will have children
that we will learn to love
because some part of them is US.
And then there will be no enemy.
If this is so,
then isn't far easier to begin today
to offer others the love and compassion
we seek for ourselves?
Isn't this the way to experience
a vivid peace with hope
and true joy in our lifetimes?
What will You choose for your future?
To live alone with hate
or to be nurtured with loving respect
by your children and grandchildren?
I choose love!---miss mellie rainbow

Passion, Forgiveness and Being Oneself!
Beloveds, my passion is to live in a world of hope
where children are nurtured, educated and loved
--just as elders are loved and nurtured
as they pass their wisdom to us.
When we support others and plant seeds of love,
the fruits of our hearts and our labor feed many!
Affirmation-- Today I will support others;
plant new seeds of hope
and live my passion of loving kindness!
Have a beautiful day....
Also,
in forgiveness---
in forgiveness, understanding, compassion,
respect and loving kindness become the beautiful,
delicious fruit on the tree of love---the tree of life!
Simply ask God for forgiveness.
Forgive and love yourself so that it is possible
to forgive and love one another.
____
And being oneself is the key to life.
Blessed divine spirit created
and enjoys our uniqueness.
It is amazing that we as sentient beings
are all a part of one universal heart.
Our gifts are multiplied by
billions-trillions-an infinite number.
It take true courage to be yourself and to honor truth.
What is truth?
The truth is that from the time of creation
--- love has and always will be our common denominator!
Always, miss mellie rainbow

Affirmation:
Today I sincerely want for others all the good I desire for myself!
On this moon-- full with emotional dissonance,
hurricanes, floods, human and natural disasters---
I am imagining new harmonic bridges
of healing and cooperation.
It is possible for us to forge
new paths of understanding.
There are times when we will disagree
but with patience and respect,
I promise honor you as a fellow human.
On this full harvest moon,
may we plant new seeds of hope
and begin building harmonic bridges
of cooperation, forgiveness and healing ?
What beautiful melodies can we create together?

Voices
Beloveds,
within us is the voice of patience--
"true respect for yourself allows you the ability to respect all others."
and then the voice of understanding poses a question--
"how will you create your portrait of life?".
Today breathe deeply and purposefully.
Know that divine spirit supports you.
Now take a moment to listen.
The universe is calling "walk in love, as love, sharing love!".
Embrace this--the message of your heart
and go and paint your beautiful day in grace!

Our Dreams Need Nurtured
Summer Note From Miss Mellie Rainbow
Our dreams need to be cared for, nurtured, and loved!
Beloveds, our dreams can blossom in the garden of life.
To do so, dreams need to be cared for, nurtured, and loved.
We must tend to our dreams through the seasons…the hibernating winter, the blossoming spring, the active summer and the harvesting fall.
We must be willing to do the work to make our dreams a reality.
And though we may have individual success,
Our dreams need to be cared for, nurtured, and loved!

We must tend to our dreams through the seasons…the hibernating winter, the blossoming spring, the active summer and the harvesting fall.
We must be willing to do the work to make our dreams a reality.
And though we may have individual success,
we must ask ourselves …
What is it we as a Human Collective are dreaming?
A world where we share and nurture the positive loving dreams
or a world of war and destruction?
John F. Kennedy, the 35th President said during his speech
to the UN General Assembly on September 25th in1961
“Mankind must end all wars or war will end mankind!”
Another great man, The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
used this quote more than once to stir us into right action.
And though we have heard this message from virtually
every peacemaker across centuries----
We are at an impasse now, and have been for many years.
We readily forge the path of destruction with drones

We are at an impasse now, and have been for many years.
We readily forge the path of destruction with drones
and military spending for Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan
but we don’t keep our commitment to assist the more thank 15 million unemployed
or our more than 1 million Haitian neighbors still living in tents
with limited access to water, and electricity.
Oh, the challenges we face in Haiti, Gaza, India, Tibet, Sudan, Nigeria, Greece,

What is the problem? Why are people suffering?
Simply our GREED.
We continuously need more----bigger and more which results
in creating an imbalance on Our Mother-Earth=Heart
and in her vast oceans and environ.
Thus we have earthquakes, hurricanes, famines and oil spills.
Thus we have earthquakes, hurricanes, famines and oil spills.
And there is something VERY unnatural about the child that holds the AK-47 gun
with pride and believes it offers the same kind of security
as a mother and father working together in love.
Oh---be still my heart! Unless we change, the end is near
for all our technological advances cannot end our predilection to violence.
And violence destroys---and will continue to destroy the heart of humanity.
What can we do?
Oh---be still my heart! Unless we change, the end is near
for all our technological advances cannot end our predilection to violence.
And violence destroys---and will continue to destroy the heart of humanity.
What can we do?
We can stop our greed, open our hearts and share our resources.
We can love one another & learn to forgive eachother, share with eachother and learn live in peace!
